Chandrashekhar Azad

Chandra Shekhar Azad was a brave and fearless freedom fighter who dedicated his life to the cause of India's independence from British rule. Born on July 23, 1906, in Bhabara, a small village in present-day Madhya Pradesh, Azad was a young boy when he first became involved in India's freedom struggle. He was deeply inspired by the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and became an active participant in the nonviolent resistance movement against British rule. However, after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, he decided to adopt a more militant approach and became a key figure in the armed struggle for independence.
